Queen of the Nile S/S 25
The Queen of the Nile collection pays homage to my journey through adversity. Drawing inspiration from fleeing my country, Togo at the age of 5 and my 14 years spent in refugee camps, each piece in the collection embodies my cultural heritage through vibrant African prints and dazzling rhinestone embellishments. This collection is not just fashion; it is a celebration of resilience, hope, and the determination of a single mother pursuing her second degree out of passion.
The figure-hugging gowns, with their long trains and full circle flares, symbolise my time spent in refugee camps, while corset tops exude elegance and strength. The structured details pay tribute to the story of Moses and echo the resilience and fortitude that sustained me. The rhinestone embellishments bring a touch of sparkle, representing the beauty found in my experiences. The palazzo pants and crop top blend contemporary style with tradition, while the cone-shaped flare dress signifies growth and transformation, capturing the upward trajectory of life
